Web hosting service Bitpalace grants discounts to students, apprentices and interns.

Webhosting service Bitpalace operates many websites of charities and has been offering discounts to non-profit associations and organizations for years. Such clients include sports, gardening and development associations, schools, political parties and other places and organizations promoting the meeting and development of people. The purpose of discounted web hosting rates is the promotion of development, education and infrastructure, which then benefit society as a whole.

Bitpalace’s owner, Peter Debik (45), has long been personally committed to promoting good relations among people. He is a leading member of the Berlin-Brandenburg Society of Evangelical Entrepreneurs (AEU) and a volunteer branch manager of the Weisser Ring association for victims of criminal acts in Berlin Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf.

As a new part of its social promotion program Bitpalace now offers discounts to students, apprentices and interns. For a period of four years, they are eligible for a 25% discount on Bitpalace’s Business Booster web space accounts including a domain. Bitpalace views such discounts as a way of helping people become acquainted with high quality web hosting technology and implementing their own projects for the first time. Eligible users receive full-fledged web space packages on high-performance servers normally used by companies for professional websites. The only restriction is that students, apprentices and interns may not use discounted web space for commercial applications. According to Bitpalace this includes the operation of shops, pay-per-view and pay-per-click advertisement on their own websites.
